I get I'm not a club owner. But if I was about to spend £30m, plus my mate's £30m, plus £240m of investment cash, I'd have at least a rough idea of what was going on. With Newcastle, it seemed blatantly obvious we had a terrible coach and were unfit, you wouldn't have to watch more than half an hour of this season to see that. So what did the new owners do? Well, they let him have the Spurs game first. That was predictably dire. They sacked him, with no plan, and left it to Jones. The very first match Jones took was IDENTICAL to Bruce. That would set alarm bells off for me - "hang on, we sacked that bloke so the team could be better, not worse". Still nothing. Now some 3 weeks on, we've got Jones in charge again. That'll be two winnable games we'll have thrown away, because there's just no sense of urgency at all. It's really strange. I personally thought they'd want to act immediately to keep us up, but this faffing just seems like they don't really care.
It is what it is mate. Its Thursday so a new manager for this game? Forget it. Jones will have been working on a game plan all week..
Well we got a point at Palace and the Chelsea game was always a defeat. I have a feeling we'll see something different. I'll take a draw
Me too, like I said, try and doggy paddle for as long as we can before a lifeboat comes along pray a tsunami doesnt bare down on us and leave us all drowned.
Brighton have our number it's highly unlikely they'll get anything there, so if we can stink the place out and take a point or a sneaky 0-1 that'll be amazing
A win would see us on 7 points and give Howe a base to work from, it would be a dream way for Jones to end his spell.
