Their heads aren’t in a good place. Let it continue is what I say because we are filthy rich and our wealth and value will only appreciate.
The takeover was confirmed a few weeks ago and we still don't have a managerial or DoF appointment. Not wishing for either of these two appointments to be rushed into, but it does appear that this foundation step wasn't given time before the deal was announced. It's almost that the timing surprised the new owners and nothing had been put in place to get the ball rolling from the get go. That leads me to the other question about the senior management positions that our owners have. Who will choose these two critical appointments? Charnley I doubt would have a clue, but who else is there to consider this ultra important step? Wonder if any of the old boys will be helping this process.
Apparently they are getting advice from various sources mainly Mcparland. I think the takeover did take them by surprise somewhat though. Hopefully they will make the right choices
Football Focus focusing on women’s football. Can we deal the big football matches first and then deal with women’s football afterwards? Sorry, my bad again, the thread apparently isn’t that kind of takeover thread.
Rotherham are a very good team mate. I’ve seen them once this season so I’m fully qualified to say that I think they (Sunderland) will lose.
Mersin all over the place again hes now said w hi ever comes in will be playing the same way Bruce played…. oh… my…
Here’s a thought. Has the takeover had a big negative impact on the players? A lot of which know they will be on their way out so have maybe downed tools.
Maybe not on the players but it has on some of the fans!! Seriously, if it has then they are exactly the players we need to be rid of.
They're just **** and **** players with little or no confidence look even ****ter than they actually are. First half as bad as we were, I actually thought our defensive marking and pressing was a tad better than normal. Then it all went to **** again.
It’s natural for them players to feel that way. They know their days are numbered and the weak ones will be feeling it. As for the fans or myself being negative. I am a negative person. So what. I see life for what it is and this season has been incredibly bad and this squad, team, management of the players is absolutely terrible. Tell me I am wrong.
You’re wrong. 1. Ashley has gone this season. That by itself makes this the best season for 14 years. 2. Bruce has gone. 3. We are now the richest Club in the World and have a potentially bright footballing future to look forward to. Now tell me I’m wrong.
To add more context to the fact your points are different to mine. I agree all your points. Im being negative to the specific things I mentioned.
Yes, they are. You said “this season has been incredibly bad”. All my points relate to and have occurred this season.
