The only way to take a free kick from close range is to just smash it as hard as you can and even if the Keeper gets a hand to it the power takes it in. No brainer really
nee argument here tees lad...gay shiven was in many peoples eyes one of the best 'shot stoppers' around yet he hardly had time to move there, don't think he ever hit a sweeter strike.
Same with penalties mate. I never understand why players try and pick a corner and hit it like a fanny
because the pundits call them worse than sh1te if they don't score so they hedge their bets and aim for the 'it was a good penalty though'...err no it was not, a good one beats the keeper every time, smack the fecker and hope the keeper gans the wrong way.
