Insulate Britain have called off their latest M25 protest plan because it’s raining.
The group cited “safety concerns” around the weather as their reason for not stopping speeding cars and lorries on the motorway.
Small teams planned to block the busy highway, but told the Telegraph that “we are reconsidering our original plan due to weather conditions”
The group had previously said that "if the weather conditions are not safe we will be calling our action off".
According to the Met Office there are no weather warnings in the area, while rain has caused severe disruption in Scotland and the north of England.
