Thank you for our first league title in my lifetime but it's time to part ways.

I’d be really surprised if any top-half League 1 team would have him after this, even after winning the title last year. He really is limited as a coach. He struggled with Peterborough in League 1.

I’d be really surprised if any top-half League 1 team would have him after this, even after winning the title last year. He really is limited as a coach. He struggled with Peterborough in League 1.

He's taken a team out if L1 playing great free scoring football at times. He will easily get another look in from a L1 team looking to get promoted

Hang on Chazz, it's not about Burnsy at all. Burnsy was asked the question on twitter and he replied honestly. Henry Winter then picked this up. McCann won't speak to any of the RH sports team and even James Hogarth who he spoke to on Wednesday has been added to the list. It's pathetic.

well said. Nothing to do with Burnsie (who I think is a great asset to this area) it’s everything to do with the authoritarian approach by the Allams - total bully boy tactics

He won't have to drop down to L2 imo. He's proved he can't get teams out of league 1 and one of the bigger teams in that league that need to get promoted will take him if he becomes available

Potentially, but Getting out of L1 would be their no1 priority and he's proved he can do it.... Cross the can't cut it in the champ bridge when it happens

I don’t want to resort to personal abuse as I am sure he is doing his best but anyone with a record like his in the Championship he would struggle to persuade any owner that he is a championship manager. He is a League One level manager and coach and that’s were he will end up again when someone puts him out of his misery here. There’s nothing wrong with knowing your limitations and working within them. I will say that with a decent centre half and decent centre forward we would be doing much better. The centre half’s are very inexperienced and the forwards L1 too. The squad is trying very hard but there’s just too much L1 about City are the moment. A better manager I am sure could get more out of them though. That’s it rant over pass the Havana Club.

I think the entire radio humberside team are now banned, not just Burnsie along with Baz the city reporter at HDM

Maybe it's low expectations but I enjoyed that second half. Never really expected us to score but a decent atmosphere and they did give it a go.

I don't think much of the manager and wish he was gone but singing sacked in the morning during the game and when Ingram is stood a few yards away is not helping anything.

If we'd scored a couple of goals in the second half it would have been written up as a spectacular comeback with some sparkling football. If only...

I wouldn't disagree with you for a moment that in the past Burnsy has gone a little OTT, but Mike, Matt and James? C'mon mate. If you follow the twitter trail, Burnsy has genuinely been asked the question as to why he hasn't been undertaking the interviews. I know - not from Burnsy - but from the sources you know I have access to that RH bent over backwards to go along with McCann and the club, but now they are all on the naughty step. Forget Burnsy, he isn't the point here. Any reporter should be able to ask a question about McCann's thinking and his approach etc without being placed on the banned list. Mike White, Matt Dean and James Hogarth hardly went for the jugular and yet anything McCann deems to be too tough gets that reporter banned. As I said, it's pathetic.
