I agree but Mourinho is not the man for a relegation dog fight,he's a cheque book manager and he will have to wait till next summer!
I'm not a Mourinho fan but we currently aren't a big draw for players (putting it mildly). I have no doubt that we're more likely to be able to sign notable players with Mourinho at the helm than with Potter - though i would prefer the latter as manager. I reckon if (and that's an IF) we were to become a big club then you need to seem like a viable option for players to sign for - ahead of the likes of West Ham, Villa, etc. You then need to build around those players over the course of years and probably need to bring in a second wave (progressive manager, young hungry players and the odd star) if you want to actually win anything.
