Just go for it... We can't defend

Get pace on the left back position imo.. You can't get away without pace.

So you believe 5 at the back works?

I'd be happy to try, I think it just pushes us back too far and we're easy to play around.

Course, most formations can work with a decent manager, we did quite well under Rafa with it, but he's in a different league to Brewcie so..

---------------Wilson--------------
---Joelinton--------------ASM
---------------Almiron-------------
---------Willock---Hayden------
Lewis---Schar--Fernandez--Manquillo
----------------Dubs/Darlow-------------

Get players in their proper positions, no more ****ing wing backs. Poor Ritchie being used as a scape goat for our **** defence while playing out of position.

We can swap Almiron and Joelinton around depending on where we are on the match, but I prefer Almiron in a central position, as that's where he's supposed to play.

Max is so more dangerous on he left.

But I'd rather that than what Bruce is doing that's for sure

Yep, I'd put Joe on the right - cos he's right footed, so using him as an inverted forward has no point as he can't/won't shoot. Max can use both, so having him left gives us options. At least if Joe's on the right, he can be on his stronger foot for an assist, which is far more likely than him scoring.

Wouldn't have Almiron 10, personally - Max is not tracking, so I'd have Almiron zonally on the left of the mid three to do the running and tracking for Max. Willock's a good threat, but with Manq on that side can afford to get forward. Hayden just needs to sit. Both Almiron and Willock can carry the ball - their issue is usually not having an outlet ahead of them, but if they're both in midfield it should theoretically offer a good counter threat.
