New manager/coach any whispers on who it might be? Listening to Stavely Bruce is already on borrowed time
Bruce we be released after the Spurs game imho. He’s took some flak of us, some fair some not. But he was playing the end game on his 3 year rolling contract so he’s coming out of it with 6m.

Not bad eh!

My guess would be Rodgers or Gerrard. But it could be anyone. It won’t be a top class manager straight away.

Is that Brucie walking off with his big payoff......clowns to the left of me,Arabs to the right :emoticon-0103-cool:

I hope so I'm sick of the site of Bruce.

I'm one of the few fans that think he deserves a little credit for keeping us up for 2 years, but it's time for bigger things I hope.

There speaks the common sense football fan and guess most geordies are like that. I get texts from my son in law bragging about the richest club in Europe bollox, or texts me every time the barcodes score bollox (not many texts) the geordies have had nearly as bad a time as us because of ownership. I wish them well because the Premier league needs big traditional clubs to do well. So that the small village clubs can go back down the foodchain.

Steve Bruce will be allowed to finish the season unless in a relegation dogfight. I bet every player pulls their socks up too because they know they will be moved out. Expect an uplift in results and performances. No more will the fans mood drag the team down

The bit about small village teams and food chain is complete bollix, no different to the super league the top teams were trying to set up. Any team that wins enough league points to get promoted deserve it regardless of their size or history.

I honestly can't believe it mate... I know other fans won't like the idea, but I think the is a big big day for nufc..

I hope Leeds get one soon and I think they will... They've got to be an attractive club on the shelf.

I don’t think you really appreciate how much relief we have at getting rid of Ashley. We just want a club that progresses and we have been rotting ever since Ashley stepped into the club.

We are on a journey and we don’t expect to be winning anything any time soon. The ownership is no different to 90% of the owners out there right now.

That’s not the problem. We are a sleeping giant as are Leeds and honestly we are more than 2 years behind you in every aspect right now.

As fans we cannot just sit and be in a relegation battle every season listening to managers like Steve Bruce talking crap every week.
Radz worked wonders for us when he took over, seriously we were miles behind where you are now after Bates, Cellino and GFH you have the added bonus of already being in the premier league. As long as you get decent directors appointed it will be full steam ahead I’m sure.

Toon a threat ?

Yes absolutely, they'll now be looking at every player we would also wish to sign but be willing to pay more in fees, agent fees amd player wages. That's before we come onto any of our players they might wish to sign as well.

Good luck to them, at heart they're a decent club and if they eventually knock one of the so called big boys out of theTop 4 then at least it will be good to watch scum, city, loserpool or chelski squirm.

Tbh I’m happy where we are, especially compared to where we were only a few years ago.

We have a successful academy again, all the age groups are indoctrinated in Bielsaball, and when he calls it a day he’ll have a big say on who will take over. Someone with the same philosophy to keep the blueprint he put in place.

Well that’s the theory anyway

Oh we do know your pain...........we had Cellino as owner and Dave Hockaday as manager (just one of the many duds under Cellinos reign). All I'll say is good luck, I loved the area, loved the ale....<ok>
