Heating bills going up today for millions of people across the country. To mitigate this, I reckon it would be a good idea to ensure that all of Britain's housing is fully insulated, starting with social housing. Perhaps I'll start a campaign.
Being responsible types, may I suggest adhesion to the railings at the Palace of Westminster, suffragette style? I'm sure that will attract the attention of the people in power without risking lives or interfering with busy working people's day. Only misguided, selfish ****s sit on motorways or their feeder roads

I'd say the attention of the people in power has already been attracted. Do you think they should act on the issue?
Yes, of course. But as people have been pointing out on the media, there are government sponsored schemes already for people to insulate their homes. If government need a prod during a difficult time coming out of the global pandemic, then an interview with an activist on Newsnight would have sufficed.
