... is she on about now the stupid cow! Just watched the report on our total demolition of Cheltenham in which we went top, have won more games than anyone, have games in hand on most, are playing some excellent football and improving in every game ... ... so our so called local reporter says, and I quote, "The hard job of staying top has only just begun ... it just gets harder from now on." Not only that, apparently, 'Dajaku finally showed what he can do'. Sorry, is this our Joelinton who's played here for two seasons, in game after game, while tripping up over his fu*k**g clown shoes ... ... or someone who's just arrived, wasn't match fit and has barely played!!! This snide bias against Sunderland has been going on for years but just gets worse. But they'll be all over us if we end up bringing a major trophy back and claim they supported us all along ... tossers.
you are correct but chill Smug man......shes an ar*ehole, you're not. her comments will be laughed at in a few months
I don't watch any local television whatsoever, never have done for years. I've heard what she's like and she is a pure wind up merchant, I'm amazed she gets away with being so anti Sunderland.
This is about as chilled as I get mate ... ... any more than this and they'd need defibrillators to get me moving again
If it was once in a while then fair enough ... ... but it's every time without fail. Even tonight she started off with, "This is the first time Sunderland have won by 5 goals for over two years," followed by a twisty face. They still talk about Newcastle winning 5-0 decades later ffs
Do people still actually watch local news programmes? I assumed ****e like Look North or Northern Life were long gone...... Is Roger Thames still covering the football?
In years gone by any safc supporting workmates she'd have been told to 'shut the fook up ya daft cow, your a woman who knaas Jack **** about football' But you can't say that now...oops I just have!! ( no offence to the knowledgeable safc females on here) just that bint does me heed in.
Dunno mate, mebbes just exiles like me who like to keep in touch with home ... ... it's like 'bingo' seeing how many ways they can be snide about Sunderland.
She is awful and cannot forgo not so sly digs. The name Radio Newcastle, radio for the North East annoys me.
time to build a case for mis-representation. They don’t represent the north east, it’s pathetic. Where’s that Irina ‘what the Duck’s she talking about’ Tinkermans number?
I've said for years it should be renamed to Look Newcastle cos that's their main function as a broadcaster. Like you Smug living away we often tune in but when she's on covering the sport you just know what's coming, time the club barred her imo. At least Jeff Brown is even handed on the football reporting.
And so he should be, as a professional journalist/presenter you should be impartial, if your any good at your job.
If having a dig about "little old Sunderland in the third division" makes them feel better about the so called "big club" who are struggling season after season in the Premier League then **** them. For the first time in quite a while we have a team to be proud of in spite of the league we are playing in. We're playing good football, have a forward thinking owner who's STILL putting in place people to make the club run better and more professional. We have a training ground that some championship as well as Premier teams would love to have - especially them up the road. We have a lot going for us at the minute and the journey has just begun!
I wonder if it annoys him the way she goes on, obviously he’s more professional about his job than she is.
I never bothered watching the local BBC news when I lived in the UK, except for the weather forecast at the end of the programme. Just recently my internet supplier has started broadcasting regional BBC programmes and I watch Look North everyday. It's pretty crap but it keeps me in touch with things happening back home. I love the start of the show cos they always show the Castle and Cathedral which is my favourite part of the North East.
