Almost inevitable that with a new manager with some degree of achievement at this level, Forest will pick up. And Derby with such good support, the Rooney factor, and some experienced players, ditto. Makes me feel even more that without new owners and a manager with some proven ability at this level, we will be in the bottom three.

What a shame we don't have good support

Bad night. Just for a change!
Just heard Steve Copper on radio shotingham. So positive. Talking them up without going overboard.
Only positive is that Barnsley sound like relegation fodder.

I'm willing to out a bet on that if McCann is our manager at the end of this season we'll finish below Barnsley, and probably Derby, in fact every fkr !

We'll be the strongest team in the championship again. Holding the rest up.
On current form, the last five, we're rock bottom with Barnsley with 2 points. No surprise there. Though Cardiff are struggling on 3 points.
Derby and Forest have a healthy 7 points.

Well, we'll see won't we? I've no idea about his abilities as a coach but he has played football at a higher level than our manager and I bet he's generating more interest in the club among supporters and potential buyers and (if they come out of administration) will attract players in a way we aren't currently doing. So that's what I meant by the Rooney factor.
