    Match Preview;
Since we last played Birmingham FC, in February, they have had a change of manager, with Aitor Karanka being replaced by Lee Bowyer. Surely Bowyer's objective is to move Birmingham to the higher end of the table...a quick glance at their league finishes and they've finished 19th, 19th, 17th and then 20th in the last four seasons. They have certainly started this year heading in the right direction, and now sit 12th with 12 points. Their top scorer is Scott Hogan with 3 goals...but they have other dangerous options in attack, in Lukas Jutkiewicz and their summer signing, Troy Deeney (who is apparently a Birmingham City fan.)

As for us, I know we have injury problems, and the squad seems knackered already (only 9 games in :emoticon-0101-sadsm) but Friday night was a frustrating game to watch. Seemed the tactics were off, and from watching part of the game and following comments on here, there was a lot of frustration and disappointment when they went and got the winner. We may be on the verge of winning the league cup (or am I getting carried away there?) but we can't let that distract us from the league, or by the time of the league cup final on February 27th 2022, our league campaign could be all but over.

    Team News:
QPR: Lee Wallace, Sam Field, Sam McCallum and Charlie Owens will all miss out for the R’s,

Birmingham City: Gary Gardner, Ryan Woods and Marc Roberts could all miss out.

    Pre-match talk:
Mark Warburton (QPR Manager): “We know what we face, we must be impose ourselves and meet the challenge. All weeks are big, but we have two home games in front of our supporters, the away support on Friday and throughout the season has been magnificent, but you don’t want QPR fans to loose belief and lose sight of the fact that we are working hard, playing well and need that backing, when we have a dip in results we need the fans to be behind us.

Lee Bowyer (Birmingham Manager): “QPR have got good players all over the park, they are a good side, they move the ball well and have very good players in the attacking third. It will be a tough game, at an old school ground, but we have been doing well away from home.”

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

The legendary, insane and illegal Mark Dennis played for both.

    Cheers Dave.

Be sure to factor in two hours to get your £30 petrol ration.

Thanks, came here to ask this.

I've really looked forward to every game this year. Suddenly have a slight feeling of dread now :-( Early season optimism fading.

Don't know who's fit but it has to be time for Uncle Albert to start ! And please don't let it be necessary for Kakay to be involved.

Think I’m going to knock this on the head to minimise my petrol usage. What a time to be alive.

Well, this is the famous 10th game in. A good time to take stock and get a feel for where we are heading in due course.
A win will see us pushed up potentially to 7th (in the unlikely event that all results went our way) and maintain that hope of a sniff at 5th or 6th.
A loss may well consign us to our old friend, mid table obscurity.
I will be there - either by bus or a bike. COYRss!

A win would give a bit of confidence back to the players. A winning mentally breeds within the team, so here's hoping.

Some of the players definitely need a rest and despite injuries, there needs to be some changes in the starting line up IMO. Let's use the squad as they are generally all good enough to do the job over Brum.

They are only behind us on goal difference! Best 11 needed.

Don't disagree that we should play a strong side, but would you for example, count Stefan in our best 11 if he's knackered?

We have sufficiently good players in our squad who can do a job against Birmingham, some may actually surprise us. All I am saying is be prepared to see some changes to the starting 11.

Definitely need to rest a couple of players but also need as strong a side out as is possible.

It doesn't pay to underestimate any team in this division and we certainly need to stop this run of defeats.
