I don’t see this as a lack of desire or fight or pride in the shirt or anything of that nature. I see this as a lack of an experienced centre half who will organise the line and lead the young lads on the field. I’d bet my shirt we will see one come in in January. Even teams who won loads with young kids had experience at the back. Grant has to use what he has and they need to put their bodies on the line in the right areas. They will learn in time but it’s just not happening at the moment. My worry is that if we persist with this style we will soon attract penalties and sending offs as other teams exploit it.

But from his own mouth McCann baulked at the suggestion of adding an experienced centre half ! That just shows how naively stupid the man is!

Here's how City look this afternoon: Ingram, Coyle, Elder, Greaves, A Jones, Smallwood (c), Docherty, Lewis-Potter, Wilks, M Smith, T Smith. Subs: Baxter, Eaves, Emmanuel, Cannon, Longman, Moncur, Bernard.

Big difference between being aggressive and being stupid like we have been...I took his comments from a football POV meaning attacking to ball more, putting your body on the line, getting into crosses harder and faster etc... Nothing to do with how we acted last week. At least that's what aggressive ment when I was being coached or was coaching.

I was actually saying it tongue in cheek, I think we all know what he meant.
