And that's why I don't mind if both him and Salah end up being the highest paid players in the league.
This is why I hate the argument that some fans make about footballers earning a lot of money and 'how if they really loved the club and sport, they should take a pay cut or play for free etc etc.
A lot of footballers (especially foreigners) grow up in real poverty - they're fully entitled to earn every single £ they make to make sure they or their family never have to go through it.

he is on 120k a week. he is 26 going on 27. when his contract expires in 2023 he will be 28.
given his form
a) who is paying him 120k per week even if he manages a free.
b) just what does he things he deserves as more time when he isn't fit enough nor doing enough.
c) just what does he think the crowd and team didn't give him when he score one only last week.
I dont care if its from his dickhead agent or him himself, its cheeky as **** considering what hes on already and what hes given to this team, which is **** all. Absolutely **** all to be asking for more game time, play well (when you are fit, which is never) & shut the **** up and youll get your rewards at lfc.

A new 5 year deal here would say put him at 32? Ended up with 120k a week for 5 more years is 31million pounds. No bonuses no signing fee included
Say he gets his wish and runs it down. Then gets a 5 year deal to get to 33/34 on 60k a week cos he isnt worth any more. 120k for 2 more years plus 5 at 60 still ends up about the same.
All he is therefore doing is cutting his nose off to spite his face.
If lfc put 120k per week under my nose after 2.5 seasons of injuries and zero output I'd snap their hand off.

Been really impressed with him this season. What’s surprised me and said a few times and can see in a few of those clips. He happily dribbles with his right foot. Makes me wonder if he could actually cover at RB for TAA when needing a rest.
Im sure before we signed him i read he can play both sides, but that might be wrong such is my memory.
Hes a bit of a joker too by all accounts which has helped him settle in the squad from what i see on on the socials.
Quite honestly i never worry these days when we sign someone and you dont see em for months before them breaking into the team, i still think taki will do a job for us for example, naby has this season to win me back even on civil terms so my patience dont last forever like.
