the agents need to start sewing the rumours now to drum up some demand for their out of favour players come January.

is the 20th sept. that really only gives them 8 weeks before the full on rumour mill is really going. just get the players name in there now so the weight of false stories and clicks means their player is in the news and on the sky rumour board.

.they also now need to prime the pump for the next international window where the press hacks locally will ask the players stuff the clubs don't like and the player can reveal all.

    only today:

haaland to barca - could not be more fake a story written. but haaland's name is still out there as the hottest property on the planet. bounded to be asked on internationals about it.

kinglsey coman linked to us and 2 other prem clubs by his agent. this lad is desperate for a move by the look of things and has the blunderbus of rumours going.

See there’s an investigation into aidy ward (was sterling agent when he left us) into trying to sign under 16s to his agency. Would often get sterling on the phone to speak to them to try sweeten the deal.

And people wonder why agents get a bad name.

he also destroyed jerome sincliar and is still Ox's agent.

sterling should be banned for his role 100% as he should know full well its unethical. I presume he got the hard sell at QPR and sees nothing wrong with it.

Ward should be banned from being an agent period.

We all know trafficking in players goes on. Uefa/Fifa simply don't do enough. It is a very tricky topic, a player ages 8 to 16 are in effect very vulnerable as the club can treat them like dirt potentially but also parents and agents and scouts and all of that are out to gain off them by moving clubs and all of this. How a fair system where a club can't exploit a child yet the child gets the opportunity to develop to thier potential is very difficult to assure. Same for predator coaches etc.

the first contract at 17 say is where they need representation as clubs are now in full on exploit the asset mode, they all want the kid to sign a 3 to 5 year deal on buttons and then the players career can really go badly or great. it is really only at ages 20/21 that the players then start to gain the power for the rest of their career if its gone well.

In this case ward has allegedly been found with his hand in the cookie jar exploiting kids with the help of his players. I would be all over ox asking him was he doing the same for ward. I would be warning him not to.

The period from 8 top to 16/17 is very much something fifa need to do a lot more on for protection. No child should be moving countries or continents really.

South American players can not move abroad until they are 18. Think the same for North American players as well and possibly Asian players.

One of the consequences of Brexit was supposed be that British players would not be able to move to the contient until 18 as well, although I don't know if this has come into force or if it will, has any u18 moved to Europe since last Jan? Bellingham? Or was that all arranged before the final withdrawl?

Yes I think there was a lot of exploitation in brazil especially. African kids are really treated badly too.

I am not aware of many english kids moving to europe, there was one who went to barca and then bellingham moved to dortmund but he was 17 and a full on transfer. Bellingham was july 2020 which i don't know if it counts?

Just looking at the bbc story.

Sterling had lawyers make a statement. It was standard rubbihs baout feeling a responsibility to talkto young players.

This stuff is pure rubbish and should be called as such.

agent in restaurant, in london with kid and mother. calls Sterling up and hands phone for video chat.

    a) you know its a call form your agent.
    b) you have just proven to this kid this agent is a big deal.
    c) doesn't matter what you say or don't say after that.

the effect is clear, covering your own arse with lawyers just proves you know it was wrong.
