Aye, I know but if you think about it, its the cheap way around the problem, keep him at home, pay his salary, get someone else in and pay their salary. No big pay off for Fat Mike to fund. Just means someone willing to take the job on a short term contract.

I would almost guarantee it's yet more unfettered bullshit. However, Jones is already in charge, in my opinion.

Whether they can do anything to get Bruce away from team affairs is down to the contract. I personally doubt it - Ashley/Charnley are ****ing abysmal at contracts. A decent short term fix would be to have him for media duties, kebab run and making tea. You've still got Agnew and Clemence there, though, and those two idiots are at best on a par with Bruce.
 
Unfortunately the great wilder seems to have been putting himself in the shop window the last couple of weeks.

I so desperately don't want to pull apart every presser, but he's gone above and beyond today. Phrases like "hope we can keep those levels up" in spite of 2 points from 6 matches, and "we'll look into it" when questioned on the (as usual) ludicrous injury situation.

I mean, "we'll look into it". The oafish buffoonery is at new levels.
