Nice to see Davison get a couple. I was hoping he'd get 10 minutes or so on Saturday when Stockley had run himself into the ground. NA should stick with this team More or less) for the rest of the tournament.

Must admit I've not paid much mind to how our academy teams are faring so far this season.
Will have a look at the weekend.

If the longer term plan is to get more youngsters into the first team, it presents Adkins with a whole set of extra considerations; especially when many fans believe that a settled starting XI is the priority - and of course the better results that should bring.

That's the point, the results. If someone like Barker can't get into our porous defence, especially at a position RB, where we have been particularly vulnerable, it's unlikely that he will see much future for himself here.

Agreed. Barker should be allowed to prove himself (or be revealed as maybe not quite ready) with game time.
If he never gets a match, it's a loss all round.
That wouldn't be so true if the older players were performing well all the time. But that certainly is not so.

U-23's 2-0 up on Millwall at H/T but down to 10 men. Burstow scored one and set up the other.

It appears that Chris Solly is doing his coaching badges :bandit:
