The system has changed now for getting away tickets, many moaning that only oldies and young scarfers are getting tickets now, so the usual lot are getting tickets in the home seats, there were a few spotted and thrown out at Old Toilet first game. It will lead to trouble somewhere I'm sure.
Getting home game tickets is ****ing ridiculous now too, they've sold far too many memberships and lots of us old regulars that aren't able to get to all games so a ST isn't viable aren't getting tickets now either. Obviously club ain't bothered they're selling out all games and sold a bucket load of memberships too. It's getting to a point that it's not worth bothering with membership, I've not got a ticket for our last 5 home games I was able to attend 2 this and 3 previous and missed out on quite a few others in that our last season in the championship too
A mate of mine spotted 2 lads at Burnley in with the home crowd that he knows are on football banning orders.
Yeah I can see this going wrong mate.... There's protests the lot planned and nufc fans are going to try and stop the game I've heard, so it's got real potential.
Hasn't the protest gone from tennis balls on the pitch to, the hope 20,000 will take and use whistles. The last time we played at your place on a Friday night, about 5 years ago? it got a bit tasty then. Could have been worse too, a police op, circled about 20 of ours in Gateshead on the afternoon, non had tickets so they were escorted back to Leeds.
I don't think there's much appetite for a protest tbh.
There's usually bother vs Leeds so I think this club decision is going to prove to be excellent for the old school.
Yeah I'm sure that's how it'll go. I would love a Newcastle win but it isn't happening.
Fitness wise Ronaldo is a beast, second only to James Milner.
Nufc are going to cause problems tomorrow.
They don't like pace coming at them from what I've seen and nufc are going to counter with plenty.
Man united will be looking for free kicks and pens.. They'll be in a more testing game than they think it's going to be
Obviously, Ronaldo is still fit, but I wonder how much of a shock it will be after playing in the pedestrian Italian leagues. We won't know if he'll slip right back on in or take his time to adjust back to a competitive league.
