I'd assume they would be selling them as well but it would be nice for them to confirm in the press release. They may only be opening to sort problems with people's season cards, but again it's not actually stated in the article.
If they were a bit more detailed in would avoid any potential bad publicity if someone rocks up with cash to buy a ticket and they get told "sorry mate, season card issues only today"
Aye know what you mean. They done a press release a while ago saying selling tickets Thursday and Friday and card only. You would think it would be on the website.
That's part of the problem, they've done quite a few, one saying opening times, one saying card only, now one updating the opening times.
They haven't put it all in one place in clear and explicit terms.
And they have only put that on Twitter as far as I can see. No email about it as far as I can tell, so if fans aren't on Twitter then they won't know.
It’s previously been widely publicised that it is open on Thursday and Friday before a Saturday match and no cash accepted.
If I was Neil Mcbeth I would have paid for the blokes ticket with my card and got money off him. Sounds a load of bollocks to me.
Always an old fella or lady in tales like this. Makes a better story I guess. Old fella gets 3 buses across Sunderland and queues in the rain and cold for 40 minutes. Only to be shunned from by the evil SAFC and their card only policy.
Not sure about that mind. I seen it on Twitter, Facebook and the website i.e the digital platforms.
Didn't see anything in the programme I bought or maybe an announcement in the stadium would help or an email perhaps, just for those not on and social media.
