At the minute it is al specualtion, we have all our players until the end of the season and if anything it is a compliment to our squad if they are being linked to bigger clubs (liverfool the exception).

Come the summer hopefully the players will want to stay and Fat Mike will resist selling having already cashed in on an injured player.

If the players are happy there really is no reason why we should sell after the Carroll deal, even if Pardew got £20 million for transfers that is still a big lump of cash to work with and we have a good core to build on.

We can only wait and see!!!!

If the money is daft then I understand the reasoning in flogging him but it has to be truly ridiculous...

Then get 'Arnold' in from Chelsea :)

Agreed if the money is daft like the Carroll deal then I'd understand but otherwise NO no reason to do it.

The more I look at the Carroll deal the more I wonder if the board really knew how long he'd be out for?

£35 Million for a player that you'd only get another 2 months if that out of for the rest of the season, to good to be true.

The fat controller really has no ambition for this club. He will sell to make a fat profit regardless of how the fans want to see the club progress.
He will / has made us a selling club once again and i feel sorry for AP who has to try and smooth things with the fans as well and try and bring in players on the cheap.
We have the nucleus of a team worthy to push on in the league with a few decent buys but i think sell is the key word in the Ashley vocabulary,

I don't think he'll go, the guy seems genuinely settled here and it did take him the best part of 2 years to get to that stage, so would he really wanna move now and go through it all again, which would be to a ****hole like Liverpool with different breed of people? He's playing wonderful football, got good chemistry with his team that has taken a long time to get to, seems happy at the club, good rapport with the fans... I just feel Jose's one of these that won't wanna move to another club in this country, unless it's prob Man Utd or even Chelsea with big money, guaranteed CL football etc. But Liverpool in my opinion, no ****** chance!

i think you'll find we could afford him, unlike you're owner ours isn't affraid to spend big. the days of newcastle outmuscelling sunderland in the transfer market are long gone. even the most die hard toon fans would agree with this you numpty

We've established ourselves in the premier league at long last, if you're team becomes a yo-yo club like sunderland have been for years(until recently) then maybe your crowds would dip, but getting back to enrique, he'll be off in the summer with tiote for top dollar, agent ashley will be laughing at yous again and again and again and again..... fact :laugh::laugh:

From summer you need to earn big to spend big. Something a small club like Sunderland can't do. :emoticon-0109-kiss:

If our team becomes a yo-yo club? doesn't look like we are going back down does it? and if your honest we aren't too far behind you in terms of points now are we? maybe we will get top dollar, but it certainly won't be coming from your club.

and where are nufc going to earn big? quinn reckons we are only losing about £2m a season through only getting an average of only 39,000 so it's not a great loss. do you honestly think ashley will spend every penny available at your club? wake up man

Well If we can't dominate you in the transfer Market anymore well have to settle for dominating you on the pitch, and afterwards, if she's lucky of course colo might think about dominating your missus!
