Max will be injured within 15-25 minutes against Ronaldu and then Miggy will be flogged like a horse by Bruce.

Then Bruce will blame injuries.

If we get injuries then it actually a genuine excuse, but you'd still expect to see a plan in place.

The next game he doesn't really need an excuse because the other sides worth about 800 million more.

Bruce's words

"I did speak to two others but Graeme was the choice. I'm delighted. He's fitted in very well with the other lads who work with him.

He referred to him as an inspired choice.

Bruce wanted Jones.
Now back to my question.
And where exactly in that quote indicates Bruce picked Jones which is CC’s point.

Bruce could simply be saying of the 3 people he spoke to he preferred Jones. It’s not categorically saying HE picked Jones. Charley could have interviewed 5 people and got 3 to speak to Bruce and then Charley decided to go with Jones based on his interview and feedback from Bruce. That quote proves nothing.

Who is Charley?

<laugh>

It proves it wasn't done under his nose and it proves he knew

The fans were claiming it was of course all that

You're reaching mate

I think it'll be funny if he does mind. I'm really enjoying pissing of our own fans atm. I'll have fun with that

Yep.
If we get hammered he'll live up to expectation. I just don't want to see him laughing and joking with his Man Utd mates at full time. It's not a good look. I want to see my manager look pissed off and a bit like Ritchie does on a good day.

Just wish people could read what is actually said rather than read what they want it to say.

If you interpret Bruce's comments on Jones as anything other than him being his choice, and wanting him, I'm afraid you just can't read and have an axe to grind. He couldn't have made it more clear.

When asked if the appointment was made without his influence, Bruce said: "I've been in the job for something like 20 years.

"Do you really think I'm going to allow something like that to happen?

"First and foremost, results weren't great at the time.

"It was important I brought somebody in, and I spoke to two or three candidates.

"Graeme was the first choice with what he'd done, and he's a Geordie who was desperate to come back up here and work for his boyhood club.

"That was one of the big reasons."

He literally couldn't have been more candid and honest about it. I'm sure he's just lying for the craic. What the hell is wrong with our fans, its embarrassing <laugh>

Facts is what I'm dealing in rather than just allowing my dislike to cloud my judgement

Pleased someone else is too.

Its unpopular and you get plenty of abuse. really It's because they don't want to acknowledge the facts

I think you just have to accept mate, rational and honesty disappear once our fans are hell bent on something. They literally just create stuff to fit their agenda. He's a **** manager. I don't want him at our club. However being objective, he's equaled the lauded predecessor and achieved the goal of the club two years running. He also exceeded the fans expectations who virtually to a man on here and elsewhere, had all said we had a relegation standard squad with a manager incapable of extracting the extra needed to get by. So he does that and then they move the goalposts in terms of assessing him.

We are ****, our squad is ****, the manager is ****. That's my opinion. Do we have enough to stay up? Yes with a bit of injury luck, I'd say we do. Are we good enough for the top half, no. Could a top manager maybe squeeze us in there somehow? Perhaps but no top manager wants to work under this owner.

Here's Alex Bruce everyone

And here's another dishonest NUFC fan resorting silly little childish remarks. Being objective doesn't make Bruce a good manager or a manager I'd want. He's done the job asked of him, and one which yourself and others have stated for 2 seasons he isn't capable of. Probably best to just concede you've all been wrong rather than trebling down. Chaos is trying to show you the way into the light.
