I disagree, if our players were playing to their potential I think we'd have the majority.

I know what you're trying to say, fortunately it does'nt work like that, otherwise Man City would win the league every year, come to think of it, our team that got relagated from the Prem, if they had been playing to their potential, we would have finished in the top 4.

I disagree, if our players were playing to their potential I think we'd have the majority. I'd have 4 of our back 5 for example (probably not Konchesky, too slow and thick for my liking, but not shocking either) and Beckford and Nugent at their best are better than Becchio and McCormack, as for the midfield, Michael Johnson is a Premier League player and Richie Wellens is right up there as far as Championship players go, I'd definitely have Snodgrass in though.

Our problem is that we are underperforming at least half the time (so far), this is down to the manager.

Some signings haven't been so good - but players like Pantsil and Ball were frees and are not first teamers anyway.

Schmeichel
Peltier Mills Bamba Lees
Johnson Clayton Wellens Snodgrass
McCormack Beckford

Not a bad team when you come to think of it :)

would deffo have Lonners over Kasper tho, and you couldnt have McCormack with Beckford cos Beckford doesnt work hard enough to get Ross goals! sell Beckford :)

Id have Tom Lees at CB over Mills (liabililty with poor distribution) and aidy white at left back

Snoddy on the right hes ineffective on the left

Well Kasper has shown to be better than lonergan sowe can finally put that argument to bed.

Mills > Lees although I think he's decent at left back.

McCormack in for Nugent then as he runs all day long.

How on earth has Kasper proved to be better than Lonners?

in a few years Lees will be a top class CB once he gets experience, going on what ive seen of Kasper and Lonergan Kasper isnt fit to clean Lonergans boots

Kasper - 11 games, 5 clean sheets

Lonergan - 10 games 2 clean sheets

Kasper won us the game vs Southampton and has probably given us about 5/6 points so far this season.

Andy Lonergan
2011/12 English League Championship
GAMES SAVES CLEAN SHEETS
10 55 2 5.5 Saves per match

Kasper Schmeichel

11 56 5 5.1 Saves per match

Am I right again?

No, you have just proven yourself wrong....

Kasper has played more game, kept more clean sheets, taken every cross and conceded less goals...

Why do you keep arguing? Kasper>Lonergan

Goals conceded to saves ratio

Kasper, 55 saves, 11 goals conceded. one goal every 5 shots...

Lonergan 56 saves, 15 goals conceded... one goal every 3.7 shots.

We have come up against more clinical finishers, imagine how **** we would be with Kasper in goal thank **** ey :) and we got 1 million for him

You bought Lonergan from Preston where he was on the bench for the last 10 odd games - he was too sh*t for a relegated team.

Surprisingly he is doing well for you - unsurprisingly Schmeichal is doing better.

Leeds fans should be grateful Leicester signed Schmeichel - if not Uncle Ken would have had to put prices up somewhere else at Elland Road to trouser another million & they'd have had to pay it

Actually he wasnt on the bench for Preston he was offloaded and was training with Everton you knobhead! You would have thought you would know how to spell your own keepers name! and Kasper is **** but must admit I enjoy watching him kick the ball as far as he can when he concedes a goal!

Well it was apparently 750k you spent on Schmeichel and we've provisionally spent 700k of that. Just shows how **** our budget at the start of the season must have been.

Should Sven leave (which he won't by the way) ... there are only 2 real candidates .. Martin O'Neil - track record already proven .. or Simon Grayson .. who fits our preferred bill of a manager who has done a solid job at a lower level for smaller teams with lesser ambitions ...
