Well, the result was not what I expected, but I am amazed how well Leeds have done after the start to the season. I thought we did poor in the signings/departures area and expected a very low league position this year. It's hard for an ex-pat to get a proper perspective, but am I right or wrong in thinking SG has done a great job in getting the players he has signed to come into the team and do well. It seems we have the making of a very good Championship team and capable of play-offs if not auto.

I am a bit of an optimist, so maybe I am looking at things with rosy glasses? Tonight seems like 2 points lost on all accounts, but if the lads learn from it, it will be a lesson well worth it in the long run. Am I also right in assuming the defence (the whole team not just the back 4 and goalie) is tightening up too?

As a 53-year old, life-long Leeds fan, I have been in far too many positions where I think everything is going great only to be knocked down in the last round! Must say I've also had many years of amazing times and never once doubted my aliegence (can't spelL!).....or type apparently!

Come on Leeds, let's get back on track to the Premiere league!:emoticon-0111-blush

He's not laughing, he's still crying from the drubbing is crap team got against Birmingham

Well thats exactly what I thought, I could understand if they where beating teams week in week out and we had just lost to the bottom of the league, but as far as im aware they are **** and we are good :)

We've beaten Derby, Southampton and Brighton in our last three home games <ok>

We beat Coventry away with 10 men aswell <ok>

Heyho, bit of a screw up (I can say screw up on here. Its a banned word on the other site). Let's hope we sort ourselves out for Saturday, or we could get badly turned over. Let's also hope Rachubka gets his finger out, as he'll be in goal for about 6 weeks.

Don't forget we're still only 3pts off 2nd.

With a much tougher fixture list.....

Lets see who gets the most points from the next 11, shall we?

Tougher fixture list my arse, Southampton, west ham Brighton middlesborough!

Hardly get tougher can you! you boys lost against the bottom of the league so the fixture list means **** all, I bet we are higher than you come end of the season

Unless you're referring to your tough home match against Bristol City? Oh sorry you lost that one

Yes, I think they are.

Players like Beasuejour, Wood, Ridgewell, Davies and Carr they are not a bad side and I expect them to be top 6 under Hughton who I rate as highly as one of the best managers in the league.

They'd all walk into your side

You don't know much though so Ill trust my judgment over yours,

You claim to have had harder fixture except 6 of ur matches have been teams in the bottom half and 5 have been teams in the top half, we have played 7 out of the top half and 5 out of the bottom blows you're theory right out of the water :)

I win :)

Not when you consider that 5 of the games we've played are against top 6 teams <ok>

Brighton, Middlesborough, Cardiff, Southampton and Derby were all in the top 6 when we played them.

That still doesn't exactly back up ur statement tho does it, I think you should accept you are wrong and we have had it harder but still managed more points
