Those bulbs are to make Avatars for a concert. At the end of the video above you get a taster.

Mama ****ing mia can **** right off. On the insistence of the wife and kids did a Mama Mia tour whilst on holiday on Skiathos, a 9 hour boat trip to various locations used in the film. Well the boat turned out to be a bit smaller than the one shown in the advertising, and the sea a whole lot rougher. The film soundtrack on a loop played constantly and too loud. After hacking its way across choppy seas for 3 hours to the first beach location el capitain decided it was too dangerous to put us ashore so we would skip that and go on to the next place 2 hours away. All in all a fairly crap day.

I always say that my west window has all the exuberance of Chaucer without, happily, any of the concomitant crudities of his period. :emoticon-0100-smile

By chance I took my crew, I’m the only male in 4, to see Mamma Mia the musical last night in London. Best to see the film first then the musical. It was superb. The songs being sung by professional singers/actors rather than actors croaking out the songs makes a huge difference.

Of course other than the music my teenage daughters were drooling over all the young male ensemble, they’re already following a couple on Instagram (he’s fit etc) and one dancer saw one of their stories of seeing the show and is now following/chatting with her… bloody youth of today..:emoticon-0114-dull:

Some of the female cast members were rather becoming as well to even things up.

Tbh I'm a bit of a musical theatre luddite. But I got tickets to see a amateur dramatics musical in York. It blew me away. Best theatre I'd ever seen and heard. Try it. You might get a nice surprise.

On the other hand I might not, my wife likes it so I've heard snippets before I can get out of the room, rapidly.
I have been to opera as well, and couldn't stand that either, it just seems bizarre to me mixing theatre with occasional random singing, like a bad acid trip.
    Each to their own.

Phil Lynott is no longer with us, but the rest are still with us. Gary Moore has gone as well, great shame
