Is anyone else going to whine like a mule before I do fall asleep in this cold miserable city
 
What has today brought us.10.35pm and we have a 19 year old for our U.212's and a big zilch for a paper thin squad and oh, our U 21's get knocked out of the EFL Trophy 3-0 by Sheffield Wednesday. Just another day in paradise.

We managed to shift a few more u23 out the club though
 
Let's not forget they did sign willock, so it could've been worse.

Munoz is already better than most our squad I suspect

I don't blame Bruce it's really not in his control.. All he can do is ask and I think he's been honest. I recall him on numerous occasions saying he hoped one or 2 loans might materialise and sadly the club hasn't succeeded.

I'm no Bruce fan, but it's really the people running the club that won't spend a penny they don't have to try and grow the club.

It's all about staying up and hoping they can cash in on maximin for big money in a year or two.
 
you cannot have Grigg he went to Rotherham thank christ does us a favour as well keeping them below us. Joe linton will score more goals than him this season.

Joelinton is coming good! been saying it the last half of last season and he did well when he came on vs saints.

I think he's got 4 goals in his last 9 starts

It’s anywhere in the frozen North mate. Obvs City, United and the RS have their own pull, but for the rest of us agents selling the idea of the north to a player is at a distinct disadvantage to a club in or around London. It’s a fact.

I remember us agreeing a deal for Giroud to come to us a couple of years back, and his Mrs ****ed the idea clean off as she had no intention of coming North. It happens.

Definitely mate I love my city, but whether I agree with it or not outside it the popular opinion is that it's not a nice place to live.

It's why loic remy signed for QPR not us a few years back... In the past nufc used to have to pay over the odds in wages to get deals over the line and we know Ashley does the very opposite, so as nufc slips further and further down the pecking order it's becoming a bigger challenge to get good players even at youth level.

I agree which is why I don't see the uproar in letting them all go.

Only issue in theory was letting Carroll go as we haven't replaced him technically but I do believe this young Mexican well be in our squad sooner rather than later
