I am enjoying how Rogered has, after only three years, finally understood the 'turd division/third division' joke and is now using it himself at every opportunity. Cute. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, of course, but the Lord loves a trier they say.

As for Steve Bruce... more trying than trier these days.

Nice try - although I'm afraid that genetic testing has shown I'm 0% Mackem

And by "genetic testing" I mean having a number of fingers and toes that divides by two.
 
I don’t think we can afford to sack Steve Bruce. I don’t mean because of the potential for a downturn in results.

I mean we literally cannot afford to sack him. In £££

Never actually thought about this. We are completely skint (although Mike isn't) so I doubt we'd be footing the bill. Although Bruce's rep was pretty rank so he probably took any contract on offer. Mike will have an escape clause.
