Keeper is definitely in play. RB close. Wide/forward significant bid in.
Owen Dale would be canny for the wide/forward and he’s unhappy with the way Crewe are treating him!

Judging by his Crewe stats, more of a goal scorer than a creator. Roughly a 1 in 7 record. You'd expect that to improve in a team playing like ours.

If it's a keeper to play as number one I think they will keep Burge as number two and send Patterson on loan get regular game time.

It’s a business decision. They get no tribunal money for him if we withdraw he offer
Aye, I know that but for how long? The window doesn't affect him, he is a free agent just like Onien was. Could he just float around the academy using the facilities until Christmas or beyond? When will we say 'the offer is still on the table but jog on and join a local gym to keep fit'. I get the good will during his rehab from injury but I'm sure he is fit now.
We don't have to withdraw the offer though, he can still 'leave' the building so to speak.
