Nothing unexpected in that 90.

Vvd exactly as expected from preseason viewings. 90mins in legs now. Another few of those hopefully will help.

Salah sharp but mane decent if not as involved. Jota scores but was crap in general play.

Firmino eager.

Keita very good with his interceptions but he really is a chug along at one pace all game player.

Tsimikas not too bad but little disappointing delivery tbh compared to his preseason showing. Made several.clearnaces in the box so did his job there if not out wide.

Trent OK, put in several that could be scored off if they fall right.

Milner "alright" nothing more

Ox, I expected more busy-ness but it was classic ox for me.

Alisson, rock.

Matip. No problems. cruised it. I mean he had no opponent so made a few sweep ups.

A good first day. I'll take that and move on.

<laugh>

I like his name tho

:emoticon-0159-musicSadiosalah all we need is sadiosalah:emoticon-0159-music

Ban him next time he says Floodgates open at 1nil tho @Zanjinho :bandit:

At least you like my name ;) Silly reason to seek to ban me. If I say we are going to challenge for the title, is this another reason for a ban? Redknapp has just said Liverpool will challenge City for the title. Should he be criticised too? Plain silliness <laugh>

Good and bad from Tsimikas but overall well done lad.

Thought he was a more than decent back-up for Robson. Sure he had a couple of iffy moments and seems to need his confidence and fitness building, but that's to be expected given he's not had a run in the first team. Seems like the more he plays the better he will get as he becomes used to everything.

Well if they thought we had a reasonable chance, they didn’t say it. Why? Fear of jinxes?

The lunatics have taken over the asylum <laugh>
Delusion whether it be positive or negative is still delusion. Emotion and belief are important but just like faith they don't need to be shouted from the rooftops or they become unbelievable and appear false.

He was one of the better players in a pedestrian first half, but seemed to lose confidence after his almost cock-up on the edge of the box.
Milner gave him a slap though so I'm sure he'll be ok in the end.
