Sorry @Saff Just to give context to my comment above, earlier in the thread when this move was first mooted I asked how a buy back clause actually works in practice. To spell it out to an ignoramus like me @Southern Adam kindly explained and gave an example of how it would work using purely theoretical figures to demonstrate.
Within an hour or so those hypothetical figures had been posted by someone on RTG and then started popping up in various other places and reports on the internet with ITKs claiming it as exclusives.
As Adam has said, it's either very coincidental that his figures happened to be spot on across the board or it's a great demonstration as to how rumour and misinformation can spread and become fact on social media and the internet.

Im a fan of his, I purely think he has been very poorly advised here
If the lad doesn’t want to sign a new contract, fair enough, shame as he had potential but my major concern with him is that he is injury prone. Good luck to him in his new club I say, thanks for trying mate and keeping our physios in a job

If the club don’t offer him a contract I’m pretty sure we won’t get compensation if he decides to leave.
Club are playing this really well, not throwing more money than they believe someone is worth, covering themselves with the compensation angle and also filling the position with a better player. Hume now wouldn’t even be first choice if he signed.

Well it kind of is transfer related…with him being available for a transfer elsewhere should he wish.
Also, you can’t see threads if the creator is on your blocked list. Had no idea it was there…or why I blocked you in the first place for that matter.

If i come on here i want to read about transfer news not read through pages and pages of none related stuff that theres a thread all ready been created for.
The same happened with Pritchard when he got covid. I wrote a thread about it and then came on here for some transfer goss. Low and behold there was already 3 pages on here discussing the matter. Its totally ruining the forum in my opinion. This place needs to tick over with new threads about different subjects otherwise it all becomes one big muddle stuck on one thread.
