Indeed. The length of contract being offered is now apparently the stumbling block.

Let's hope it happens, but the longer it goes the more I wonder..

It's nufc isn't it. Even when something good looks possible it goes wrong! Whether it's 12 point leads, huge takeovers and now even agreeing personal terms after the offer is accepted

The sudden bids for the other 2 have lead me to the conclusion that things are not looking good at all

i agree here. It’s so they can say they were trying to do all they can…. Before the window shuts and we have no one.

it’s a lack of class to do business in public like cabbage head.

It could be I wouldn't put anything passed them.

Essentially make it look like willock was the ****

I'm Pretty pissed off cos I got a ticket for Sunday thinking things were getting better.

Was never worried. When a club has said yes and want the money, the player knows it has to get signed

It will happen because the player and both clubs want it to. Unfortunately players just hand over to their agents and say sort it. So these agents just try to engineer everything in their favour. By 'their' I mean the agent not the players. A static player makes no money so release clauses and various demands are the norm. I've said previously there should be a central agency working on behalf of all players in this country. Agents should be wiped out. Disease of the modern game.

In terms of buy back, this should be banned anyway. If you don't want to play someone to find out if they are useful to you, you shouldn't have the right to get them back on a whim from someone who is. Absolute garbage and shows just how unregulated football is.

I have no problem with a relegation release clause, the club should be confident that won't happen. He is good enough to play top level so you can understand it.

We need him, but I hope no one is expecting a world beater. The lad is simply a decent prospect who if handled correctly could be very good. Long way to go but the profile of footballer I want to see at our club. Young, hungry and plays the modern game.

I agree, the buy back is just an expensive loan, you can't start building a team with players on those clauses, can live with the relegation one.
