Its early days to think like that although his player selection, signings, tactics and formations this season to date have created the doubts you are voicing. My main criticism is that he hasn't used any of the money received for Morison to purchase a decent replacement for him and its lack of goals that have put us in our current league position. KJ can now prove how good a Manager he is during the next few months by us seeing if he has anything up his sleeve to get us out of the current mess. If by the end of the season we end up being relegated then I agree it might be time for a change.
We forget how recently our club was in a huge mess because of continual change at the very top and the revolving door of managers. I won't list again KJ's achievements (against the stability created by JB). JB and KJ have transformed our club beyond recognition. I would concede that KJ has a bit of a blind spot at the front. Also his late buying of players who are not wanted by the original club has the big drawback that they are not fit (as in Millwall fit) when they come to us. (Simpson and Aygemang - the latest examples). He should get new players in earlier - so that they get the summer training - which makes a huge difference. Yesterday, Simpson was really putting a shift in and showing signs of the player we had back in 2007/08. (Clearly he has worked during the international break). I'm not sure if there was ever just one decent replacement for Morison - I think it's about a strike partnership and a team effort. I am proud that KJ is now the longest serving manager in the Championship. Yes this is a time of challenge - and it is the first one that he himself carries some responsibility for - but I am convinced he will get us out of it. Keep the faith - support him and the team. We'll get there. COYL
Do you think we could get someone better in with the budget that is available? Compared to the other Championship teams are there another 3 with less money available? I know financial ability doesn't directly result in where you finish in the league but as long as we stay up there's no way KJ can be sacked. Just remember how we've done previously after sacking managers.
there is no way that KJ should be sacked, or step down, we basically have a league 1 squad which was helped out by moros goals and a couple of good loan signings last season, this seasons loan signings havent done **** all to be honest but i think the financial side of things has handcuffed KJ in regard spending the moro money cos a two million quid player wages are going to over our self imposed limit. Its gonna b a hard, long season, but it would a great deal harder without kenny in charge. COYL!
In KJ we trust! That said, yes, we do seem a bit thin up front, but remember, you can't buy goals. Buying a proven striker doesn't neccesarily mean he will score for us, There's a lot more to scoring than just having someone who has scored in the past. Keep the faith, fellas, keep the faith.
No KJ still can take us a long way, it's just the lack of money we have available as to the reason we can't sign so called bigger stars. Stick with KJ, in KJ and JB we trust.
Keep him, he is doing a fantastic job at the moment!!!! Roll on 26th November, I hear Dougie is letting Speroni have the afternoon off on that day, something about teams dont really need a keeper on the pitch when Millwall are playing???
You muppet ! Palarse have had a decent start for a change and now you lot are largeing it !! Don't get too cocky as you may end up eating your words ! COYL !
Palace computer warriors giving it the big one we will see just how big you are on the 26th ROFLMFAO.
Rocky. beware the keyboard warriors or should i say warrior,,,,,Palace get a few points on the board and notsobrightright thinks theyre gonna win the league. we will be above them and Leeds before Christmas
