Balls swinging round corners now and Anderson looks more like guy that’s taken 600 wickets now.

Just put another down in the slips

Pity England's top order is absolutely ****e.

The opening pair look purely mechanical.

If England get a ball that does a bit and have Anderson and Robinson what lead does root need to give them to bowl at?

    250? 300?

    Lead is 110.

Can it be doubled? Maybe but someone has to stick in here. Buttler and Lawrence are really all that's.left with Curran being a useful last resort but they could all do like 9 pins too.

    I dont think 200 I enough personally

They need to get as close to India's first innings as they can. A lot will depend on conditions on the last day.

200 lead. Not one single man stood with root really . A lot threw wicket away.

The lead is a bit short of what's needed imo. The tail needs to wag.

Has to be an absolute run through them tonight.

It's a very small margin to bowl at.

It only takes one partnership. I'd forget board unless he can get an immediate run on wickets.

Anderson and Robinson the only option and the score is just too tight to rely on 2nd new ball.

    Rain saves England.
yup. if it has been clear yesterday i strongly suspect they would have won it with 7 or 8 to spare

The mid order fell into every trap. Butler, lawrence and Bairstow all gave wicket away chasing runs.

The less said about the crawley, burns and sibley debacle the better! I am trying to recall a less strong england batting line up in the upper order. Its not easy.

inida batsmen who how to go about it. they have seen englands opening bowlers are the real danger and have just played past the worst of it then opened up slightly. slow scoring but now in for no loss.

I can see england being skittled in comparison if these conditions continue.

Not great. Especially given england put them in! Can see why they did as was overcast but england just not threatened enough, and India openers batted really well

worrying thing is, hard for India to lose from this situation especially with England batting last on the pitch. Think already beat can hope for us a draw.
