They've got a very kind start so I think they'll be fine... Pre season results mean very little it's just a fitness exercise they don't battle.

objectively speaking, he is a half decent manager, He is far from the worst person they could have appointed.

Its just his stupid fat gut, **** face, stupid **** beard and grating ****ing **** voice I cant stand

For my part I would only ever have meant the dictator thing and your use of your mod tools etc - very much in the manner that Bod has just done - I think we share very similar views on political and societal issues in general outside of the footie 'rivalry'.

However, I guess this shows that some deeper thought is sometimes necessary when attempting "witty" allegorical comment and if you did indeed feel that I was suggesting you had other characteristics of the Nazi's then I unreservedly apologise for that because it was never the intent.

So Lincoln players access an area of the ground yesterday, between the hoardings, that they firstly shouldn't have been in, right in the face of the home fans, and secondly was clearly done to provoke a reaction, and we get accused of racism, that NOT one single person heard.

Now if someone did, they deserve a kick in the nuts and banning from the ground, and although someone was ejected, there was no suggestion that was the person who allegedly made the remark...

    https://www.skysports.com/football/...ing-racism-allegation-during-league-one-match

I read one steward recorded the incident, although I never saw any stewards with cameras, but let's see what unfolds from that. Also stating not at anytime did a supporter enter the field of play.

Looks like some of our numpties were abusing Ian Wright whilst he was commentating yesterday... hope they identify and ban the ****s if it was rascist.

Every team has idiots amongst their following ... not judging what happened at your game btw.

I just don't understand what's wrong with these people.. Its 2021 and for my entire life I've known people are all skin bone and blood. Where are these people being brought up? I'm from a tough working class background and honestly we all grew up together just fine and are educated enough to know Racism isnt acceptable is any circumstances.

Agree with others - no chance you'll be relegated. Think you will finish top half, although your recent signings aren't particularly inspiring on the face of it ... perhaps Rafa can get the best from Demarai Gray ... there is undeniable talent there, but he is also incredibly frustrating and inconsistent.

I had a reasonably clear view of what occurred yesterday, although not close enough to be able to confirm if a racist remark was said. I think the Lincoln players realise they had fooked up by entering through the hoardings to celebrate their goal. This caused a lot of pushing and shoving, mainly from young fans and the Lincoln players in return responded in kind. Racism is unacceptable, but also as much as fans are not allowed to enter the field of play, and did not, what the hell are players doing entering the stands in probably the most volatile section of the ground. Personally I think the players were lucky they didn't create an even worse incident.

    Yeah that swings both ways.

No fans on the pitch. And no players in the stands

Anything else is just asking for trouble.

If it wasn't racist then that sounds like a good atmosphere to me

Probably less than half of them actually think black people are inherently inferior, they are just too stupid to think of an insult that doesn't involve race, so its their go-to.
Not that that makes it any better, or their comments any less heinous. They are just ******s.

Probably. I'm hoping one of the stewards did have a camera to prove or disprove the claim but not holding my breath on that one.

Yup. For me personally I couldn't have given a shhite what the Lincoln players did, but I have to stand back and look at it from the youngsters point of view, which is, we are not allowed on the pitch, so why are they allowed in the stand. I commented that the gap in the hoardings needs to be closed to stop it happening again.

I have heard jokes my whole life mind. Roy chubby brown looking at it now wasn't on.

I think there's still a big issue with people thinking it's OK or it's a joke.. But it's not a joke to black people and that's the reason it's not acceptable.. The things that have gone on are so far from funny it's just never something that should be taken lightly.

I get it all now but thinking back to the 90s it was a much bigger issue but it's still there for sure.

Im finding it all bewildering these days tbh.. I honestly didn't think it was as bad as it is..

It's litterally every ****ing day and event its going on

I dont think it has gotten worse, I just think that its more widely reported now and also everyone carries a recording device with them nowadays, where as in the 90's they didnt. So all transgressions get recorded these days.
Plus there is the internet, which emboldens people to say the first thing that comes to their ******ed heads thanks to the feeling of anonymity. In the 90's, me and my mate Jim were the only 2 people in my street with internet connections. These days everyone has access to, and uses, the internet

The 90s was much worse or maybe it was the sane and like say there was less awareness..

I personally think it was worse because I can remember hearing it from old piss heads in local bars and with the exception of one or two I hear now they don't anymore.

I just don't get it but unfortunately I think there's always going to be bad people looking a for reason to take their problems on others for any reason they can.
