However, from what I've read, today's 1-1 draw against Millwall showed that some of the back up players, potentially, need a few games to get into the rhythm. Going into a League Cup game this obviously means we need to take it seriously, and play our first 11, or run the risk of going out. Kenny Jackett's Orient drew their first game 1-1 against Salford. They have the experienced Darren Pratley in the centre of midfield, and Jackett clearly saw something in Paul Smyth, as Smyth has been bought in and started their first game. I'll add team news and managers comments when they go on the official, and as always... COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
We can't manage or edit images posted Dave, if they show as missing there is nothing we can do. C'mon U R'ss, a little cup run would be nice.
When Warburton was asked something about the next games with Orient and Hull he repied only about Hull winning 4-1 at Preston yesterday. With Boro midweek after Hulll, I can see us playing a lot of reserves at Orient. From yesterday it looks like they need games too.
I noticed that too, hopefully not him bring wilfully dismissive of the competition. I don't see why we shouldn't be trying to breed the winning mentality on all fronts. Ask any fan of any club if they would want their team to do well in the cups and without fail the answer would be yes. Appreciating there will be changes I hope we go there with a positive intent. Guessing the likes of Austin, Wallace, Johansen will get rested.
Live on Swedish tv as well. Should be easy to find a stream for those who haven't got the required tv station.
I am pretty sure we will see some of the squad players getting starts in this and would not be at all surprised to see McCallum, Dunne, Dozzell and even the likes of Kelman and Kakay in the starting XI
Tidy ground these days...... Gone from this... please log in to view this image to this..... please log in to view this image
Hope the cup run doesn't runneth over! I'm none the wiser on who may be playing or not but hopefully the younger young guns can make a fist of it.
Went to the game at Orient in 1981/82 season, for some reason it was a Sunday morning kick off, 11:30ish. It was one of those games that you go there thinking can't see us losing and how many will we score and end up thankful for a point...........
