Summer transfer rumours

There are a few clubs who will struggle massively next season if the don't get promotion. They have gone 'all in' with their chips.

 

Think they go 433 so 3 attackers every game plus the bench. We'll soon see if it works or not.

 

Wigan fan on what the falk podcast stated they had tiny wage bill initially as only few players. They've gotten money in for players and compensation for another who moved on with a sell on which has basically funded their business so far. He also doubt Wyke is on 10k thinks it's neater half. Wouldn't be the first time the press git things wrong.

 

I listened to that as well. Wouldn't be the first time a fan puts a positive spin on things.......just playing devil's advocate

 

Very true but lots of ours doing same. Truth is likely somewhere in the middle. It's a great podcast much better than rr one.

Wigan - the signing of Max Power’s mates
Ipswich - anyone
Lincoln- anyone who Sunderland are rumoured to sign
Portsmouth- whinge about Wigan Ipswich and Sunderland’s budgets

Agree. He (Graeme) started out at RR then went solo I think. Good podcast imo, he gets some canny ex players on (not always SAFC). He was one of the early ones to interview Donald for RR when he took over.

Just been looking at Ipswich’s squad. Must say it’s better than ours with lots of attacking options. Something seriously wrong if they don’t get promoted.

I mean, if we are doing a deal for a kid as highly rated as this our hierarchy surely expected these terms to be added by them, especially by a club owned by Daniel Levy

 

Standard deal TBF. I am sure the absolute whoppers will think that the buy back clause will be what we have planned to pay initially.

like others this sounds like a pretty much done deal, little risk to Spurs as they get first dibs and we get a great prospect !

It’s a great deal. If it ever comes off it will mean we have made a profit. Which will mean he has done well. We can’t lose.
