Michael Edwards has done it again! Liverpool have just pocketed around £6 million without selling a single player. Danny Ings’ transfer to Aston Villa was recently announced and the Reds are in line for a 20% cut of the reported £30 million fee.
Thats 20% over £20m sell on, so its actually about £1.5m. All welcome cash though The fee is reported as £25m
I suspect once we shift the likes of Origi and Shaq, we will announce some signings. I'm pretty sure Saul is done ...
I read this morning that we’d let Shaq go for free….was surprising at first but if we need to move someone in, it makes sense…
It's insane if we do that. The guy is worth around £20m in a normal market. But I suppose his contract is running out soon and teams will want to exploit it. As you say, we just need to get players off the books one way or another.
Aston Villa has banked £100m Shaqiri would do them fine, frequency of his injuries is driving potential buyers away. Instead of selling for free he can rot in reserve.
With respect shaqiri is on 80k a week. It's not so easy shift these guys but either we accept his of no value and loan with a portion of wages covered or we sell for very little. We can't afford 2 or 3 sat about unregistered.
Souls agent wants you to think that. Given nobody has taken the guy yet the inevitable conclusion is something is holding up his move somewhere but the scattergun agent has linked us, City, utd and barca. Take your pick

He refused to clap during the guard of honour when we won the league, drinking from his cup instead and broke from the line before the whole team had passed through. If he goes out of his way to be disrespectful, why would we want that kind of attitude in the team?
That's nothing. Would you expect a top player to clap opposition like that really? Id expect guardiola to absolutely hate the idea. Luis suarez wouldn't have done it. He's a nasty little winner.
