BBC NI Journo reporting that Evans is going to be announced as our new captain,

I wanted O'Nien but happy enough with this. Seems a good pro with good experience. And his position on the pitch close to both the centre backs and the forwards makes him an obvious candidate.

Happy enough with this - I think he'll be a good influence on the younger members of the team. Lets hope he stays fit!!

Team Captain - Corry Evans
Vice-Captain - Aiden McGeady

Club Co-Captain - Luke O'Nien
Club Co-Captain - Bailey Wright

Leadership Committee - Tom Flanagan
Leadership Committee - Lyndon Gooch

That's all of our players isnt it?

Wright getting named is a strange one with all the talk of him leaving,

but also could now move flannigan left back Saturday and have Wright along side Doyle

Who knows.

Could read it that we have two "club captains" because Wright might leave.

It's not a terrible idea - trying to get some ownership on the pitch instead of it always being off the pitch
So what happens if we need to speak to the ref - do they first have a committee meeting to a) decide what to say and b) decide who is the most appropriate team leadership group member to converse with the ref?

I see WMS are getting stuck into the club for this aswell now. I can understand the frustration/worry with the full back situation but what's the actual problem with this?

The more senior players in the squad take on extra responsibility and help with the younger players in the squad (we're going to have one of the youngest in the league) what's actually wrong with these senior players becoming better leaders, individuals and developing as a team?

They seem to be negative over everything at the club and seem to scoff at anything slightly forward thinking. Need to move with the times lads.
