FLINT another brilliant Russian movie subtitled English, a Russian special forces, goes to a fallen comrades home town, to give his mother her sons items of sentimental value , only then to be pestered by corrupt police.

I liked Misommar but I can understand why not everyone does, it's an odd film. As much as I rate it it's not one I'd recommend to other people unless I know they like weird atmospheric ****.

Agreed about Interstellar, loved that film. Last time I saw it was well before my daughter was born so it'll have extra emotional impact now.
If you like that, have you seen A Field in England?

Its not universally popular but I love it. Mad as anything.

That's all good, I love David Lynch and Fear and Loathing is in my top five. It sounds a bit like The Lighthouse which I thoroughly enjoyed, not the plot but the black and white weirdness.

I might stick it on tonight if I can find it.

Hacksaw ridge is a good film as well imo.

Agree about Paddy Considine as well - in 'A room for Romeo Brass'....."tuck into that!" <laugh><laugh><laugh>

The Shane Meadows stuff is brilliant. As mentioned earlier, Dead Man's Shoes is tremendous.

Layer Cake is good and I also like RocknRolla (a typical Guy Ritchie interweaving storyline gangsta flick)

Me and a mate of mine went thinking it was a horror horror film if you know what I mean. lol. If I had known it was going to be the style it was, I may not have left disappointed.
