If the model isnt sustainable their is no long term future! Short would simply right a check at the end of every season to cover the 'costs' of the previous year that isnt a way to run any business we have seen what happened when he got fed up of doing that. KLD doesnt appear to be here to make a quick buck like those before him so will have a long term plan to stabilise then build and we have already been told that we need patience for the project to take fruition.
Me too, but not in time for the match. I'm a bit torn, as we love a Friday announcement, but we don't normally announce signings on a match day.
Im not saying we should do a Man City mate. All im saying is some cash should have been spent by now on players
I keep going through waves of positivity, negativity and then just not really caring. I really don’t know how to feel about this window. It’s a frustrating time that’s for sure!
Its exciting mate. New owners, no financial concerns (different to splashing the cash) and still 5 weeks or so left to improve the squad.
Well if that's the case then surely they have hit their cap? They don't get crowds and Wyke is supposedly on 10k a week for 3 years.
@Prehab26 has intimated a number of bids have been lodged, which will hopefully realise some results in the coming days. It's highly likely that we're not going to see significant amounts being spent on players until the end of this season when,by my reckoning, the likes of AoB,Grigg,Flanagan,Willis and Wright will finally fall off the payroll and provide much more room for manoeuvre.
Personally I'd rather wait to get the right player on the right deal as appose to spunking money on someone to fill a gap
We've been waiting since May?? How much longer do you want to wait, till the January transfer window? The longer we leave it the harder its going to be to find the right player. Clubs will already have them in their plans now and need to replace them by the end of August so the longer we leave it the more costly its going to be. All this whilst we're playing games with a depleted squad
If thats what it takes then yes! Why bring in someone you dont want just for the sake of it? We have senior players who can fill gaps so why bring in a new player to do the same? I just dont get that logic at all
We are not a million miles from having a very good team for this division. Obviously fb needs sorting and I'd love a first choice cb to go alongside young Doyle.
we all would but all that the other posters are saying is we would rather those quality players were here last week not next. Plus we have no idea if we will bring in better quality players. I don't know how many times we have to say we are commenting on where we are now, not where we will be IF we get better players in
The logic is getting out of this league asap. If your happy to sit and jeopardise this season waiting for a certain type of player than thats fair enough. Theres plenty of players that would have improved us now signed for rival clubs.
Has it not set a few alarm bells off for you that we have currently not spent a single penny on a player yet? Do you really think the right player hasnt been available yet, we just havent put a bid in for them. Why?
