I stole this from the Utd board…

"Should the Varane deal be completed as expected, United will have spent just short of £400m on players since Solskjaer was appointed manager on a permanent basis in March 2019.

That eclipses the outlay of Manchester City (£298m), Chelsea (£262m), Tottenham (£255m) Arsenal (£243m) and Liverpool (£119m) in the same period, according to Transfermarkt."

I didn’t know whether to laugh at them for giving Ole £400m or that their transfers thread was 68 pages in total.

anyway, we should play with zero pressure this season - unless we spend £200m on Mbappe, obvs :bandit:

It cant be true surely ?
Their squad wasnt that bad that it needed that amount spending ?

Edit; sure Maguire was reported to be £85m too so could be kind estimates at that too.

Just a few rumours from reliable people but were actively pursuing a deal for chiesa.

Long way off from doing a deal because it’s a complicated deal with his current loan / obligation agreement with Juve.

but one to keep an eye on
