Very few shows manage to maintain their quality right through to the end unfortunately.
Even shows like Game of Thrones went to **** in the last couple of seasons.

For me, The Wire was the best show for being kick ass from seasons 1 through 5.
It even got better as it went on,.

Dont think I’ve ever seen anything where one bloke takes as much punishment. Seems to be getting the **** kicked out of him every other day.

You’d also thing that by now people would’ve realised it’s basically pointless trying to kill him as he just ****s up everyone no matter how many and even if he has 100 broken bones and a pea shooter

Decent metaphor for life in modern suburbia. Although in the unlikely event you are actually interested in portrayals of suburbia, look no further than Revolution Road (or: "What would have happened if Rose had made some bleeding room on the floating board then settled down with Jack"). Winslet and Di Caprio are superb in that and the ending is genuinely heart-wrenching.

Watched the Widower, a real life, 3 part. crime doc about a fella who’d had 6 wives. Was boss.

If you're on about the tom hanks one how come its getting a lowball score of 7.5? Especially when you consider the luvscale.

Easy solid 8.2 at least.

The wire is the best tv series ever made. superb stuff.
