I’d definitely be grieving, that’s a given. But the reason HIAG was so bitter about his mum was because he couldn’t see her due to covid restrictions on the ward. He never mentioned anything about her being denied treatment. Only that he couldn’t see her before she died.

As for putting the guy down. I think he made some poor decisions based on his inability to see the reality laid out before him. If that’s putting him down, then I’m sorry, but it was preventable.

He PM'd me about his mum, so you wouldn't have known. I guess what he may have said on here, and what he told me, were two different things. I agree with him to be fair, I actually had to go into a private covid free hospital during 2020, so I knew where he was coming from. People were scared to even go near a General Hospital. So yup I felt his pain. It don't excuse what happened on here later, suppose I was just trying to show some empathy for the poor bloke.

Fair play mate. I only went on what he’d said on here. But either way it’s clear that covid affected his thinking on the whole issue and it definitely sent him down a rabbit hole that unfortunately, cost him his own life in the end.

It's like being a bloody social worker on here at times <laugh>

That's not purely aimed at HiaG by the way, akin to running a nursery. Hence why you see my touchy side come out from time to time. I care for everyone of you on here, even considered leaving before, it's unbearable seeing people pass away on here. I think it was Rocky more recently (don't know if you knew him).

Had a Gills fan very poorly earlier in the year, don't think he's signed in since the 5th July and keep looking out for him. Hoping he'll reappear when the new season kicks-off.
