Rejected an offer we never made more likeJuventus have rejected €85m from Liverpool for Federico Chiesa.

He's on loan to Juve with the obligation to buy, €40m plus add-ons.As he us only on loan at Juventus how could we make an offer to them and they be able to reject it. Very piss poor journo!
Gini given interview saying he felt like fans didn’t really love him during his final couple years. Fans in stadium were great but those on social media were different. If we lost he got the blame and saying he didn’t want to be here etc.
Not sure what to make of that. Think he got a hell of a lot of love and respect from lfc fans as his time with us went on. To start with was hard to see what he offered but think last 2/3 years most true lfc fans knew he was a vital cog and hugely important to everything we won. I think to say fans didn’t love him due to social media is a bit naive. Nearly everyone knows that most abusing ‘fans’ on social media are idiots who don’t really support the club properly anyway so to tarnish all other fans by them is poor.
It's a chicken and egg situation isn't it. Did fans question his commitment because he refused to sign a new contract or did he not want to sign because fans were complaining about him?Pah. That's pure excuses. If he signed his contract the Internet trolls would shut up and pick on someone else. If he's not grown up enough to know that he would be questioned on commitment to the case as he ran down his contract he won't do well where he has gone.
Pure excuses.

If we take posts on here as an example, have people been slagging him off for the last couple of years? Not that I can recall. The odd moan, yes but in general the consensus has been that he's been the team's stalwart.
Wilson to Fulham confirmed. £12m plus 15% sell on.
Maybe but at the end of the day he is a human being and it sounds like he was still reading it. I'm not on Twitter or Insta but I'm still glad I don't have hundreds or thousands of people from around the World criticising me on there. And depending on the sort of person he is, one negative comment may outweigh a hundred positive ones in his mind.Imo whoever any player is they should know the plastics online are not worth listening to ever. Fans in ground are the ones you listen to.

He got loads of **** last year from probably the same twatter trolls who chased young neco williams off there too.Gini given interview saying he felt like fans didn’t really love him during his final couple years. Any public figure is going to get **** on social media, because that's how pathetic people are. Imo, if you're not really thick-skinned then don't use it. Have a private account for friends, and just publish news more widely if you want, but don't interact with the public.Wijnaldum: "Actu

Its a massive problem thats actually getting a lot of attention at the moment, hendo started an anti online abuse thing called hope united recently for example.
but i often think until that problem is solved (twitter accounts linked to phone number/official I.D. required) then players could take thier own actions to prevent seeing it all by like i dunno, deleting it? Making your profile private perhaps?
That may sound harsh but im ok with that. I cba people who have headaches but wont take an aspirin namean.
Thierry Henry came off twitter in protest recently fir example.. Others could have followed his lead but chose not to.
So on one hand im all for stopping the abuse online and those social media companies deffo need to do something.
but at the same time im also thinking players and celebs should stop moaning and do summin about it themselves.
I dont really care what gini says about online trolls but now hes a psg player i wish him well (except against us) and he'll always be a Liverpool legend imo
