Alex Stepney in goal. I met him at Old Trafford a while back,when he was doing hospitality after a game, and reminded him of the time we put six past him at Loftus Road when he was playing for Millwall. He took it very well.
One of my favorite photo's of Stan after scoring against Man U on New Years Day 1974, we gave them a right good tonking that day in what was George Best's last ever game for them....

Was sitting with my dad in Ellerslie Road. If anything I enjoyed that season more than the 75-76 one, played some great stuff.
Best in this game was just a bit sad. Think Givens scored one of his edge of the box, left foot high into the net crackers as well.
That was the match I thought was Boxing Day, knew it was a bank holiday game. Same result...

I was at the Boxing Day match in the Loft End. Never seen LR as full. What an atmosphere...
Am looking forward to a cracking atmosphere on Saturday even though it is a friendly match. We have missed the live footie.

Would love to have been able to get back for this but returning to the UK has become more complicated than ever. Looking for some good early form and feedback from you lot. I'll be in Beirut Saturday so reliable WiFi will be extremely unlikely but I'll attempt to tune in
