I thought he would go for pace & trickery in a balance, seems to me he's gone for the big heave, which rarely, if ever vs the Boks.

But as they say "what do I know"

Looks like he wants to take them on upfront and get at least parity.
I’d have had either Adams or, probably, LRZ on the bench - not because Louis is better, but if he had a yard of space late on, he’d bolt through ….

Agreed, but to take them on up front!!!!
I agree - doesn’t seem the option choice for most people. Perhaps he thinks that his guys are (match) fitter and can run the Bokke into the ground. SA ‘A’ team did appear to run out of gas towards the end when they played
