Apologies for another movie thread......but thoughts on Mad Max Fury Road? I like it. Mel Gibson is amazing in the originals but I this is about as good as it gets for a modern version/twist/sequel/prequel.

Loved Tom Hardy in Taboo, last episode left the door open for a 2nd series but apparently he's busy with other stuff to do it. I'll have to watch this though

I didn't really enjoy it, some good bits and it's what I'd call a proper action film with all the set pieces done for real but yeah didn't click with it.

I'm not usually a fan partly because I often can't hear what he's saying but he was good in Taboo. I think he was too busy in his private life to make the second series when they wanted to but it is going to happen.

Watched Taboo, it's amazing but they have taken too long for the next series imo. His Dad, Chips Hardy, is the writer/director.

Can't get my head around this film. It's a pretty incredible piece of film making. And a great watch, but at the same time... I ****ing hate it.

I think it's because I try writing myself and the film has about 8 words of dialogue.
