who knows in today’s football finance tbh. However, FSG raised $500m recently and shareholders will not want that sitting in the bank - they HAVE to invest it….where the invest it is what should interest us all.
They will be buying some global clubs and doing **** like that. They couldnt even by a quarter of an NFL team so god knows what they are planning but we cannot expect to have the hand out
i wouldn’t be so sure. Obviously, you might be right but the dollar buys a lot of pounds or euros atm….there is good value in investing over here. I have a sneaky feeling that they’ll pull a rabbit out of the hat…..but we will see.
I supported Henderson on this board when hardly anyone else was but i wouldn't offer an improved contract . I would consider a 1 year extension on same terms as my max offer .
Desperately need another midfielder. How many minutes did Gini rack up this past season and before then, incredibly reliable, in fact the most out of all midfielders. That's a big hole to fill, let alone our aging players like Henderson and Thiago. Fabinho is injury prone too
I just don't see FSG doing in their pockets mate. They've not done it since arriving so they're not going to start now. Only way we spend big is if someone big leaves.
Mbappe is the exception Genuinely could see FSG splashing out on someone like Mbappe because it's a investment that as much as possible guarantees a return.
I don't expect them to dip into their pockets either - they apparently run the club as a self-financing body, which is fine by me. However, our beliefs about the financial state of the club are pure speculation as far as I can see, so we can't be sure there won't be deals done.
