Possibly, but these choices rightly come down to the individual. Money over lifestyle?

I'm a City fan so given the choice I'd have played for City, if I didn't have that choice, well I'd look at my options and a career abroad would have been an really exciting idea.

I got to know him when he was playing for Anlaby and he was always good company and never failed to "let on" in later years when we sometimes met up at the five a sides at YPI. it was a pleasure to have known him and I'm sure he'll be sadly missed.

I was once on a building job with him,he was the sparky on it......he came across as a bit of a knob tbh.....
