Well everyone I am back home in Rossendale after my 250 mile round trip supporting the lads and big Niall in his crusade against illegal TV watching. Great time with my twin girls and watching the match live. I have not lost any belief we will still be in the top 7/8 at the end of the season but just a couple of little points that I thought Id like to make.

Thought there were times we played some scintillating football. People behind me were saying that they had not seen Sunderland play like this in their lifetime of watching the club they were about 30 something. 5 Tottenham fans sat near me were well impressed.

Think the problem was that we allowed Tottenham to play their football. They got a lot of the rub of the green but at times our midfield was to far away from defence. Maybe to attack minded. Overall though thoroughly enjoyed the game apart from the defeat and if the type of football we served up at times is what we can expect then I for one price or not will make every effort to get to games as and when I can and for those who live nearer then get on Nialls crusade and follow the team live rather than in the pub

Heart-warming stuff. Great read. Nice to hear all the positives we can take out of a defeat.

I heartily agree, I was up at 6 this morning, didn't get home till this afternoon, we lost, and I still really enjoyed it! I can't understand people who can afford to go to the match every week but go to the pub instead, nothing can compare to a full Stadium of Light! (apart from maybe a full Roker Park!)

If I said that you probably weren't all that big down under, I'd be being as immature as you are now. the fact is, I'm 16 and am more mature than you, but in mag years you're probably about... 10 I reckon?

Good post. It was a good game between two good sides. We should have scored a second when we were on top but it wasn't to be and Spurs got back into the match and their winning goal was a great finish. Shame about the result but we did play some really good stuff in the first half. Keep the faith!
