So what you're trying to tell us is that you know more than all the worlds leading health experts when it comes to transmissible diseases and that masks are the cause for the spike in infections? Did the bleach ingestion make you immune or did you prefer the fish tank cleaner?
Just had a round of golf with my 'gas man' mate. His ICU has several Covid19 patients who are very poorly atm.... all anti-vaxxers, some in their 30s! He also said there are a couple of new bad variants on the horizon... It is likely to take years to catch up with 'routine' surgery. Lots of staff are not at work cos their kids are off school 'isolating'
How have the world leading health experts handled this disease so far? At the start I seem to remember them saying masks didn’t have any evidence to stopping the spread of Covid. How have their measures controlled this disease? If the vaccine didn’t come along, we would be in a worse situation than when we started.
You're right, it was worth it, because without it, the starting point of the second wave would have been even higher, more people would have been hospitalised, more people would have died.
Well it is easier if you are an Island, a fair distance from any other. So, for example, Australia is better placed that GB to take advantage of this. But New Zealand beats both. Then there is population density. In UK for example one of the safest places to be is the Scottish Highlands. Lowest rates of infection. Lowest density, (I guess). But even Australia, with all it's border controls and geographic advantages has somehow got the 'Delta Variant' now. I take the point you are making, but I feel that the problem is just a bit more complicated. So far, whatever solution humanity has come up with, this virus has found a way round it. However NO country can survive indefinately under lockdown conditions. I recall one of Boris's advisers saying a while ago that this virus is going to have to be lived with.

I'm not being funny but it's really easy to find out about all of these things. Take a look at the British Medical Journal (BMJ) website or the WHO website. At the beginning, they didn't think masks would make a difference. There was a lot they didn't know. This is because it was a new virus that had never been seen before in humans. An amazing amount of research has been done to get us as far as we have.
The Delta variant came in with international cabin crew being transported to isolation accomodation through the driver being not vaccinated. The Delta variant can take longer to produce a positive result so this person had 4 day in the community not knowing he was infectious. That's how easily it spreads. For Dickhead stripes information the driver nor the passengers were wearing masks so i guess they thought that they were safe
Lockdowns, masks etc slowed the spread, prevented the virus getting out of control. Its quite easy to understand.
